water quality projects: river supply conduit

The Lower Reach River Supply Conduit, which transports water from north of the Los Angeles River in Burbank to the Ivanhoe Reservoir, is old and needs to be replaced.  The new pipeline will accommodate higher pressure flow from Headworks.  The area will experience full or partial street closures between the north end of Griffith Park and the Ivanhoe Reservoir.  Construction in Silver Lake was scheduled to begin in late 2005 and last until 2008.
