what's a path pal?
CSSLR's Path Pal program is devoted to preserving and enhancing the appearance, safety and usability of the walkway surrounding the Silver Lake and Ivanhoe reservoirs, which arguably comprise one of the great urban amenities of Los Angeles.
To those ends, the group conducts regular weeding events, promotes the installation of special trash cans to encourage litter pick-up, and holds periodic seminars to promote appreciation of the reservoirs' wildlife features and landmarks.
We encourage residents to report problems with trees, landscaping, fencing, graffiti and the path itself.
We will also be exploring the possibility of asking residents and businesses to adopt a section of the path to maintain, either directly or through a monetary donation.
